WayWink Trust Center
Trust starts with clear access, visibility and responsibility.
Understand how WayWink approaches access to school transportation information, role permissions, operational records and product transparency.
Trust by design
Transportation visibility should be controlled and purposeful.
WayWink connects information about students, families, drivers, vehicles and live transportation. That information should not be exposed equally to every user.
The platform uses authorized accounts, relationships, assignments and role-aware experiences to determine how users participate in the transport workflow.
Trust also requires clear limits. Live location, ETA and alerts provide operational context, but they do not replace the responsibilities of the school and transport team.
Core controls
Keep access connected to the transport role.
Authorized access
WayWink is designed so transportation information is available to users with appropriate access rather than being publicly visible.
Role-aware experiences
School administrators, drivers and parents work with different information based on their responsibilities.
Operational history
Trip, attendance and other transport records provide historical context for authorized review.
Focused visibility
The product is structured to show users transport information relevant to their role and relationship with the school.
Role-aware access
Different users participate in different parts of the journey.
School administrator
Works with school transport operations including routes, stops, buses, drivers, students, parents, trips, attendance and reporting.
Driver
Works with the assigned bus, trip, route, stops, expected students and journey actions required for transport operations.
Parent
Receives authorized information connected to their linked child or children and the relevant school transport journey.
Product controls
Operational controls available within WayWink.
These capabilities help schools structure access and maintain context around transportation activity.
Transparency
Be clear about what the technology can—and cannot—do.
GPS and ETA are operational signals
Location and ETA can be affected by positioning accuracy, network connectivity, device availability and road conditions.
Technology supports transport operations
WayWink does not replace school transport policies, supervision, emergency procedures or operational responsibility.
SOS supports alerting
The driver SOS workflow provides an urgent transport signal but is not a replacement for emergency services.
Live location is sensitive operational information.
WayWink's parent, driver and administrator experiences are designed around authorized participation in the school transportation workflow rather than public location sharing.
